As environmental regulations become stricter, some highly polluting enterprises have been shut down, keeping the price of caustic soda high; it is likely to continue rising according to current trends. However, the price of chlorine has been falling, forcing companies that lack the necessary infrastructure for chlor-alkali production to reduce their operations or even cease production due to the difficulty in selling chlorine. A reshuffle in the chlor-alkali industry is about to begin. What do you all think?

At present, companies with strong chlor-alkali production capabilities are in a relatively better situation, while those with weaker such capabilities are facing increasing pressure.
As the price of chlorine continues to fall, even companies that are relatively strong in the chlor-alkali industry are now finding it difficult to cope. They are conducting new cost analyses and planning to reduce production volume by purchasing chlorine from outside.
