Analysis of data on high-purity hydrochloric acid

I remember that in the analysis data of the 31% high-purity hydrochloric acid we produced in the past, the contents of calcium, magnesium, and iron were included. However, for the hydrochloric acid produced nowadays, according to GB320-2006 for industrial synthetic hydrochloric acid, there are no requirements for analyzing the levels of calcium and magnesium. Why is that? Do we really not need to know the amounts of calcium and magnesium? Thank you
