We invite experts in soda ash production to discuss the issue of using large amounts of melamine – such as 50,000 tons or 100,000 tons – in the production of soda ash. What capacity is necessary to ensure proper crystallization in the carbonation tower of the soda ash production facility? Should the ratio be 100,000 tons of soda ash per 10,000 tons of melamine, or 50,000 tons of soda ash per 10,000 tons of melamine? And can a facility with a ratio of 50,000 tons of soda ash per 10,000 tons of melamine operate properly?
What we use is co-production, at a ratio of 1:2 compared to alkali. The production capacity for triamines is 15,000 tons, while that for soda ash is 300,000 tons
What was mentioned upstairs is likely 1:20; currently, there are discussions about increasing the supporting capacity to achieve 1:15 (triamine:soda ash)
J: Yes, for the new triamine and alkali combination we are using, the ratio is between 1:10 and 1:15.
