The balance pipe of the submersible pump is connected to the tail chlorine pipe of the liquefier; in the event of any abnormalities, liquid chlorine may flow from the balance pipe into the tail chlorine pipe, which can cause a change in the chlorine pressure inside that pipe. Therefore, the flow of liquid chlorine may affect the proper operation of the liquefier and the pressure maintenance of crude chlorine. .

This situation is very likely to have cascading effects. Firstly, there is a difference in pressure between the raw chlorine and the tail chlorine. Secondly, there is a difference in temperature; especially near the temperature-pressure point at which liquid chlorine can vaporize, local vaporization—or liquefaction—occurs, which inevitably leads to pressure fluctuations in the connected pipelines, equipment, and containers.
Where was the process design for this done? Such a design is wrong! The balance pipe of the submersible pump is connected only to the balance pipe of the liquid chlorine storage tank, while the liquefied gas exhaust pipe can be connected to the exhaust pipe of the liquid chlorine storage tank; these two cannot be connected together!
