On December 7, the technical upgrade project for Yinglite Chemical’s plant, which aims to increase the annual production capacity of calcium carbide to 300,000 tons, successfully passed the completion inspection. This marks the official entry of this project into its new production phase, laying a solid foundation for the company’s high-quality development. This completion acceptance was carried out jointly by Ningxia Electric Power Company, the Management Committee of Shizuishan Economic and Technological Development Zone, an externally hired expert group, as well as relevant personnel from the design, supervision, supply, and construction units. Six teams were assigned to review the project documents and the completion acceptance report, and they conducted a thorough inspection of the project site regarding engineering quality, safety and environmental protection, and the operation of the production facilities. After careful review, the various acceptance teams issued a comprehensive assessment, concluding that the Yinglete Chemicals’ project to upgrade its production capacity to 300,000 tons per year of calcium carbide met all the relevant regulatory requirements. The documentation required for completion acceptance was complete, the overall quality was deemed satisfactory, and the quality level for handover acceptance was acceptable; therefore, the acceptance committee declared approval for the completion acceptance. The technical upgrade project for Yinglite Chemical’s plant, which has an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of calcium carbide, involves the construction of four new 40.5 MVA calcium carbide furnaces along with associated auxiliary facilities, using the approach of replacing smaller units with larger ones to reduce overall volume. During the construction process, Yinglite Chemical treated the renovation project of the 300,000-ton calcium carbide plant as a **critical task and a matter of survival, designating it as a top-priority project. Adhering to the principles of high quality, fast progress, and low costs, and upholding the priorities of quality and safety, the company made every effort to ensure that the project was constructed to high standards, underwent testing at a high quality, and was completed efficiently. The project was put into operation on schedule, which improved the coordination between various stages of the industrial chain and significantly reduced the current operational pressures. For its successful completion, Yinglite Chemical received the Special Prize from the Ningxia Electric Power Company’s award fund. Next, Yinglite Chemical will take the project’s completion inspection as a new starting point. In accordance with the recommendations of the inspection expert team, it will work to address any identified issues, further strengthen project operation management, and continuously optimize the process equipment to ensure the safe and stable operation of the production system.
