Shanghai Chlor-Alkali Chemical’s patent on “Polymer Dispersant Stabilizers, Their Preparation Methods, and Applications” has been published

Recently, the patent for “Polymer dispersion stabilizer and its preparation method and application”, applied for by Shanghai Chlor-Alkali Chemical Co., Ltd. and Guangxi Huayi Chlor-Alkali Chemical Co., Ltd., was published. The abstract indicates that this application provides a polymer dispersion stabilizer, as well as its preparation method and applications, wherein RA is a residue of a polyether polyol; such polyether polyol has a hydroxyl functionality of 4–10 and an average molecular weight of 1500–50000 g/mol. The polymer dispersion stabilizer of the present invention can be used very effectively to synthesize polymer polyols with an unprecedentedly high solid content, low viscosity, and excellent storage properties, and can further be used to prepare polyurethane materials whose hardness, overall foam performance, and foam resilience have all been significantly improved.
