Chlorine drying basically uses a three-tower process, plus a trapping weapon. Using a turbine requires a high water content in the chlorine.
Packed tower + bubble cap tower process, requiring moisture content of less than 100 ppm

For chlorine drying, processes such as chlorinated water washing, cooling via shell-and-tube coolers (titanium tubes), water mist capture, packed towers combined with bubble-cap towers, and acid mist capture are generally employed. The moisture content must be kept below 100 ppm; the dried chlorine is then compressed and transported using turbo compressors. This is because turbine compressors have high requirements regarding the water content in chlorine gas.
