Recently, the sulfuric acid expert hired by our company has put forward some new requirements regarding the exhaust gas treatment in sulfuric acid production facilities. Currently, the SO2 level in the exhaust gas is 400 mg/Nm3, while the acid mist level is 30 mg/Nm3. However, many facilities only monitor the SO2 level in the exhaust gas; acid mist levels are hardly monitored at all ； This expert, who is an executive at the Sulfuric Acid Association, said that acid mist control is also needed in sulfuric acid production facilities these days, and that the standards for exhaust gases seem to be getting stricter.
