An appropriate reducing agent can be added to 90-99% sulfuric acid to convert nitrates (nitrate nitrogen) into a gas that volatilizes out of the sulfuric acid.
Adding something might not be enough; appropriate reaction conditions are also required
There’s a bad idea: first dilute the denitrification product, then concentrate the sulfuric acid to a concentration of up to 96%, while the nitrogen removed can also be concentrated into 98% nitric acid.
