Can 88% sulfuric acid and sulfur trioxide be used to produce 98% sulfuric acid?

As the title says. Additionally, when 88% sulfuric acid is mixed with liquid sulfur trioxide, is it done using ordinary stirring? What is the heat release like? How to calculate the mixed heat release? Seeking advice!
