I would like to ask, what is the pressure loss when using a tubular acid separator? Choose the head of the pump. Is a pressure loss of 10m sufficient?
Pipe resistance and pressure difference also need to be taken into account.
All of these factors will be taken into consideration; just the resistance of the acid distributor – do you have any experience with that?
Which form was chosen? Could you be more specific?
I’m not very familiar with the specific types of acid distributors; I’ve just read some literature recently and learned a bit about them. My tower is relatively small, with a DN1000 diameter. I would like to use a tubular acid separation unit – one main pipe enters, and it is divided into several outlet pipes at a rate of 40 points per m2. I’m not sure if the description is too amateurish

One thing that might be useful as a reference is that, after all, tubular systems consist of circular tubes, so the resistance to gas flow is very low; there are almost no vortices that cause resistance to gas flow

As for the pressure drop in the liquid phase (sulfuric acid), it depends on how the manufacturer designs it; if the design is good, there will be no pressure drop in the liquid phase, and instead siphoning effect will occur to assist the acid pump in performing its function
