May I ask what material is suitable for transporting sulfur dioxide gas? The gas composition is approximately 1500 ppm of sulfur dioxide and around 100 ppm of nitrides, with pipe diameters ranging from 400 to 800 mm
What is the temperature, and what is the moisture content? These are generally present in flue gases; carbon steel can be used at temperatures above the acid dew point
The temperature and moisture content are needed to select the pipe material.
If it is a dual-suction outlet, non-metallic pipes cannot be used if the acid mist has not been properly removed.
The material of the flue gas pipeline should be selected by taking into comprehensive consideration the flue gas temperature, as well as acid mist and moisture.
