The EPC project for a 1.5 million tons per year phosphogypsum purification facility in Hubei Huiyang was launched. On the morning of July 17, the EPC project for this 1.5 million tons per year phosphogypsum purification facility, as part of the first phase of Hubei Huiyang’s new energy and new materials integration project, commenced work. The project was contracted out in its entirety by a chemical engineering design institute, and it is also the first EPC project undertaken by this institute at Hubei Huiyang Company. At the commencement ceremony, representatives from the general contractor, the construction party, and the supervision party each delivered speeches, emphasizing that strict control over quality standards, adherence to safety requirements, and proper management of project timelines are essential to ensure that this project becomes a high-quality, model project. The total investment in this project is 40 million yuan. The main structure is a three-story concrete frame building with an area of 3,600 square meters. The key components of the construction include a complete set of equipment for the purification of phosphogypsum, covering critical technical processes such as gypsum slurry preparation, cyclone separation, filtration and washing, thickening of thin slurries, and modification. Through efficient purification processes, this project enables the high-value utilization of phosphogypsum resources, significantly reduces environmental impact, and helps enterprises cut costs and improve efficiency.
