As more waste and defective materials are recycled, does the effective chlorine level in the storage tanks increase or decrease? There are certain conditions regarding water. We prepare fresh sodium hypochlorite by recycling some of the waste sodium hypochlorite and water, along with concentrated sodium hypochlorite. Based on my personal analysis, the price should rise because the waste sodium hypochlorite resulting from the reaction contains some effective chlorine; therefore, when the same level of effective chlorine is desired, less concentrated sodium hypochlorite is needed.
The effective content of defective sodium is generally kept below 0.08%, and the effective content in the recovered solution of defective sodium is practically negligible. So, remixing sodium hypochlorite has little impact.
There is a close look at this issue; veteran employees say that during the construction of Phase 1, everything was recycled, which prevented an increase in the effective chlorine level. It rose right away with water. It is said to be affected by the impurities in the waste material. I was wondering if the recycled waste liquid became acidic and decomposed, but that seems a bit far-fetched.
