Xinhan New Materials, the world’s largest producer of PEEK monomers, officially enters the full PEEK value chain

On February 11, Xinhansincai, a leading manufacturer of PEEK monomers, announced that it plans to issue shares to specific investors in order to raise funds totaling no more than 1 billion yuan. These funds will be used for projects related to the production of 8,100 tons per year of high-performance resins and composite materials, as well as related infrastructure; the production of 5,000 tons per year of fluoroketone (DFBP) and related infrastructure; and the establishment of an innovation center for high-performance composite materials. Xinhan New Materials stated that this project aims to increase the production capacity for PAEK resins and composite products. Among them, DFBP is a key raw material for the synthesis of PEEK. Through this project, the company will move from being a supplier of core raw materials in the upstream part of the PEEK industry chain to expanding into the downstream sector, thereby establishing an integrated industrial framework for specialty engineering plastics that includes core raw materials, resins, and composite materials – this will enhance its overall service capabilities and risk resistance.
