The company is currently considering getting into used oil recycling. From a market perspective, it’s unclear how to collect large quantities of used oil. From a technical standpoint, it’s not known what quality the oil will have after molecular distillation. Are there any good methods available for refining oil at present? Gentlemen, could you give some advice? Discussion is welcome.

Generally speaking, there is nothing wrong with the technical approach, or rather, it cannot be refuted. For a new project, either one must start with a market strategy before looking for technical solutions, or one must start with technical solutions before finding a market strategy. I don’t have either; I suggest finishing the tasks at hand first.

There are over 200 companies across the country engaged in used oil recycling, and each of them uses different methods. The volume of oil to be processed in such projects must meet certain standards; the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as well as the Ministry of Environmental Protection have set relevant requirements, so you should take a close look at those before evaluating the equipment available.
We have used molecular distillation; what’s being sold is just a concept, and the actual results aren’t very good!
If used oil is classified as hazardous waste, it should fall under HW08 and HW09. With a license for handling hazardous waste, there will be no problem in collecting such oil
