Which domestic refining and chemical plant doesn’t have catalytic units? The expert has informed us!
The newly installed facilities that focus on the chemical industry don’t have catalytic units anymore
See what type of products are being produced! There is no catalysis in chemical processes!
There is none from Hengli, and none either from Lianyungang
There are some small oil refineries here, but many do not exist; large and medium-sized refineries should be available now, as catalysis is after all a very important part of the refining process.
The newly launched integrated refining and chemical processing projects no longer use catalysts; instead, residue hydrocracking and wax oil hydrocracking are employed. After all, catalysts are limited by low liquid yield, and diesel has a low cetane number (which affects its stability). Gasoline, on the other hand, has a good octane number but cannot be used in reformation processes. For these various reasons, catalysts are being phased out in the overall planning; Hydrocracked gasoline can be fed into reforming units to produce aromatics, as well as high-octane gasoline; catalytic processes are gradually becoming obsolete, just as delayed coking can no longer serve as the primary processing method, having been replaced by flexible coking
