How to reduce water in the sealed oil? We use light diesel produced by our own facility, which contains a high amount of water. How can we reduce the amount of water present?
What do you think? Where does the water in diesel come from?
Enhance dehydration in the oil sealing tank; it is best to establish a system of doing this once per shift. Dehydration should be intensified even more in the diesel scheme with a lower intermediate temperature. It’s better to have a larger oil sealing tank to increase the settling time.
Does the sealing oil pass through the sealing oil tank during normal production? Isn’t it injected directly through piping at the diesel delivery valve assembly?
In our system, the seal oil is introduced into the seal oil tank before it reaches the light diesel output unit; the seal oil tank is relatively large and equipped with a dehydration package. So regular dehydration can prevent the presence of water.
How is the flash point of light diesel controlled after stopping the stripping steam?

It involves control of the high limit for the level in the distillation column, control of the high temperature at which vapor is drawn off from the top of the column, and also direct heating of the feed before it is fed into the hydrogenation unit after the catalyst is added.
