Can catalytic cracking gasoline be used as a feedstock for reforming? Is there a problem?
We supply direct-fed gasoline selective hydrogenation units.
The olefin content in catalytic gasoline is too high; it must be hydrogenated and then partially blended. It cannot be used directly.
The main goal is to eliminate diesel and gasoline products. There are some issues with Phase 6B; it is intended to use diesel hydrocracking to produce heavy naphtha, but the scale does not reach 600,000 tons per year. Catalytic hydrogenation of gasoline is planned as a way to obtain feedstock for reforming, which in turn can be used as feedstock for PX production

Catalytic gasoline can be used in reformation, but the olefin content needs to be relatively high. As a blending component, olefins represent a problem at present; whereas as a raw material for PX, it is necessary to consider whether the energy consumption and economic benefits are appropriate.
