The normal operating requirement for the regenerator pressure is about 20 kPa higher than that of the settler pressure. Why? Is it due to the elevation differences of the two devices?
First, it provides the driving force for the circulation of the regenerant; second, it prevents the exchange of oil and gas between the two devices. This was discussed in previous posts – you can search for them.

The top priority is still to ensure safety; one must pay close attention to this indicator during operation.
Elevation is one of the factors; the most important thing is to ensure that the catalyst in the regenerator can be circulated back to the reactor, and to guarantee that the driving force exceeds the resistance. Based on these considerations, and according to the calculations done by the design institute, appropriate adjustments are made during operation depending on the fluidization conditions in both reactors
