Seek the method for putting an inserted reboiler into operation
Establish the bottom liquid level (determine the operating control range based on the lowest liquid level that will submerge the tube bundle as specified in the design drawings), introduce steam to warm the tubes, and then start up the system by raising the temperature.
This is consistent with the common general methods for reboilers; the key is to follow the principle of introducing the cold stream before the hot stream. In this case, the shell side of the plug-type heat exchanger functions as a tower. However, when using a plug-type reboiler, it is essential to raise the temperature slowly, with an increase of no more than 15°C per hour. Raising the temperature too quickly can easily damage the gasket at the head.
