I worked at two chemical plants: in one, the valves were kept fully open and variable frequency control was used; in the other, the valves were opened to a limited extent with variable frequency control, and the frequency limit was set at a certain value. The actual processing capacity of these two plants was the same, but their designed processing capacities differed.
It depends on the flow rate control level: choose the second option for low flow rates, while the first option is better for higher flow rates. After all, it’s a variable-frequency pump, and limiting the output flow seems to result in some wasted electricity.
I think \"full valve opening for variable frequency control\" is more reasonable.
It must be that the valve is fully open and variable frequency control is in use; the purpose of variable frequency control is to regulate the flow rate – so what’s the point of having a valve that limits the flow?
