As the regenerative spool opens, does the valve pressure drop increase or decrease? Thank you so much!
It gets smaller; the greater the opening, the more loose medium such as air or steam passes through, and thus the pressure difference between the front and back definitely decreases
It’s getting smaller; I’m not sure what problem you want to solve
As the slide valve opens wider, the catalyst circulation rate increases; however, the driving force decreases due to the lower material level. When a new steady state is reached, the pressure difference across the slide valve is lower than before.
Decrease; slide valve pressure drop = pressure on the inclined tube regenerator side – pressure at the bottom of the riser tube
The pressure drop across the spool decreases, and the driving force is reduced, which is why the spool opens wider.
