This is my first time here; I’m a beginner and would like to know whether catalytic gasoline can be used directly in vehicles Also, if catalytic gasoline is stored in underground tanks, how long can it be stored without deteriorating? Thank you all
Catalytic gasoline contains a high amount of olefins, and even dienes; such gasoline cannot be stored without antioxidants. Finished gasoline is formulated from various gasoline components, but it should not be stored for long periods of time. If storing gasoline for a long period of time, reformed gasoline or alkylated gasoline can be used; refined products containing catalytic cracking gasoline components should preferably not be stored for an extended period.
