When starting up a catalytic cracking unit, how can the medium-pressure steam system be properly activated? In other words, how to better connect the medium-pressure steam from various drum vessels to the system.
At the start of operation, we first introduce steam from outside the unit to the steam delivery valve assembly for dehydration; thereafter, steam is introduced along the process flow, with each stage undergoing condensation and dehydration, and venting is carried out at the top of the drum
Do your units have a medium-pressure steam superheating system, and how is this system connected? And then, what is the process of combining the steam generated by each drum?
Remove the residual heat boiler, and divert low-pressure steam to the steam drum

Is it the medium-pressure, positive-pressure steam from the system that is directed to various drum vessels, and then from the saturated steam in those vessels to the superheating system?
Medium-pressure positive-pressure steam is diverted to various steam drums, at a pressure 0.1 MPA higher than that of the steam drums
Yes, use superheated steam to convert it into saturated steam
Is it something like this: the system introduces medium-pressure steam into the equipment, which then flows through saturated steam pipelines to various drum vessels (with slight venting from the top of these drums); subsequently, the saturated steam resulting from the mixture in these drum vessels is sent to the medium-pressure steam superheating system? But what happens to the steam once it reaches an overheated system?
Draw your steam process diagram; I’ll take a look at it for you. It’s possible that the process is different, it’s just not clearly explained
