Which has better properties, catalytic feedstock or reprocessed oil? Thank you!
Catalytic cracking feedstocks are generally atmospheric residue and wax oil; it’s important that the feedstocks have good properties. These feedstocks are analyzed in terms of saturated hydrocarbons, aromatics, resins, and asphaltenes. Re-refined oil is slightly better than slurry oil, but still inferior to wax oil, :)
