Our plant uses a two-stage regeneration process, namely first oxygen depletion followed by oxygen enrichment. In the equipment diagrams, it can be seen that the diameter of the semi-regeneration slide valve is the largest; heat is removed from it afterward, and finally the catalyst goes through the regeneration process. I would like to ask the experts why the semi-regeneration slide valve is designed to be of such large diameter
It would be best to include a schematic diagram; it will make things clearer when referring to the image. Whether it is related to the pressure of the recycled gas used in each stage, for reference.
This shows that you are operating with a significant amount of anoxic regeneration, and you also need to maintain balance between heat extraction and the pressure system!
