My company is now requiring energy savings from the equipment. Are there any other effective energy-saving measures for the reforming unit?

For existing installations, there are limited options and little room for energy savings through operational adjustments, unless the equipment and heat exchange networks are modified and optimized. There are several adjustable aspects for operation: 1. Reducing the negative pressure in the heating furnace, lowering oxygen levels to decrease gas consumption and improve furnace efficiency ; 2. Reduce the pressure and reflux in the tower system to decrease the load at the tower bottom ; 3. Reduce the temperature of the reaction separation tank within the adjustment range to improve hydrogen purity and reduce steam consumption by the circulator ; 4. Reduce the hydrogen-to-oil ratio in the reaction ; For non-ultra-low pressure reforming, attempting to reduce the reaction pressure may be considered ;

Compared to the big three oil companies, if your energy consumption is already at a leading level in the country, then they won’t push you any further; if it’s not good enough, just increase the temperature of the heater to 95+ degrees, haha
