The total hydrocarbons other than methane in the flue gas of this unit’s heating furnace are much higher than those in other units. I would like to know the common reasons for high levels of total hydrocarbons other than methane in heating furnace flue gas, as well as the corresponding countermeasures! ! !
If the tests show no problems, check whether there is incomplete combustion; increase the oxygen level in the furnace and see the effect. Otherwise, investigate the reasons from a process perspective to determine if there are any leaks in the furnace tubes.
First, check whether the furnace load, fuel properties, furnace temperature and its distribution, the operating condition of each burner group, and excess oxygen in the flue gas are all normal. If everything is normal, there may be a local leak in the furnace tube.
