The sampling port of the dry gas outlet unit frequently contains liquid; there is a significant amount of water in the drainage area, and it’s not large quantities of amine solution. The defoamers in the tower equipment have all been replaced, and the cooler tubes are leak-free. The operating pressure is 1 Mpa. The dry gas output from the unit ranges from 4000 to 7500 standard cubic meters, and in all cases there is some degree of liquid presence. There is no condensed oil in the dry gas separation tank, and the amine solution concentration is around 28. The temperature of the lean amine solution entering the unit is 38–40°C. Please help analyze this situation
Basically, they all contain liquid; it’s just a matter of how much liquid is present. It’s not noticeable in the heat of summer, but you’ll know it in winter. Our pipelines for transporting dry gas to produce hydrogen are insulated. Otherwise it will freeze in winter :)
Are you guys also from Luoyang’s coking industry?= =The dry gas sampling port is at ground level; if this remains the case, you can try opening the liquid cut-off valve on V601 slightly to allow continuous drainage. Of course, be careful with the pressure to avoid any reverse pressure. Another approach we use is to modify the sampling port so that it becomes an online type. =Because that sampling location is quite low, it tends to hold water, and worst of all, it freezes easily in winter; it takes a long time to blow air into it for sampling=. =I hate it so much; change it to a horizontal introduction, then integrate it into the pipeline after that to make it online. Also change the sampling port to a horizontal one, and that should basically solve the problem. . . . Winters in the north are really cold; even diesel froze once
