Dear experts, may I ask how your organizations define this? For example, is it necessary to draw architectural drawings for empty frameworks? If it’s not drawn, how can the stairs be clearly represented? The chemical engineering drawing standards also don’t clarify this.

In the Unified Regulations for Chemical Engineering Drawing HGT 20588-2012, how should Article 5 on page 52 be understood?
There is another issue: for the empty framework in petrochemical facilities, should the staircase construction standards be followed or those specific to the petrochemical industry? How do you guys handle this? How to pass the construction drawing review?
For structures, there is no such thing as architectural drawings; plan views and elevation views of the components are sufficient. Steel ladders can be used for stairs, and standard drawings from national catalogs or the company’s own standards can be employed, provided that they are illustrated in the plan views.
How is the difference between structures and buildings? According to Article 2.1.4 of the 2009 Terms for Design of Civil Buildings, a building is a place intended for human habitation and various activities; production facilities also require regular inspections. Should it be based on buildings or structures?
Definition of a structure: An engineering entity or auxiliary building facility constructed for a specific purpose, in which people generally do not carry out production or living activities directly inside. And it doesn’t seem right to classify production facilities as structures, does it? Any suggestions?
