Dear teachers, I have just started working in petrochemical quality control. The colleague who used to handle this role has moved away, and there is no one to guide me. Could you please tell me what the specific tasks involved in quality management are, and how I can do a good job in this area?
Quality management refers to all the activities involved in establishing quality policies, objectives, and responsibilities, and achieving them through quality planning, control, assurance, and improvement within a quality system. Mainstream business education programs such as EMBA and MBA courses cover quality management and its implementation methods. Management has become an emerging discipline with strong comprehensiveness and practicality. It applies the achievements and methods of various disciplines such as management, technology, and mathematics. The content of quality management includes: the basic concepts, guiding principles, and theories of quality and quality management ； Common methods and tools for quality management work ； Theories on acceptance sampling and process control ； Methods and techniques for quality design. Quality management has also established the concept of quality cost, which consists of internal failure costs, external failure costs, prevention costs, and detection costs, as well as the methods for calculating and evaluating it.

There really isn’t one. I used to work in energy conservation, and now I’m working on new projects; my role has been redefined
