Design of oil tank load-bearing tank basin

Beneath the roadway, the underground oil tanks require load-bearing tank chambers. There are 2 oil tanks, with a diameter of 2.4m and a length of 7.8m; they are placed side by side. Is it possible to omit the partition wall in between and create a single chamber? Is it still necessary to add a partition wall to divide it into two separate tanks?
From a safety perspective, it’s definitely necessary to add a partition in the middle.
