Question: How many bends are needed for an 185 m² copper wire nose? The wire die of the crimping pliers has a width of 10 mm; the wall thickness at the copper part of the copper wire nose is 2 mm, and the circumference of the copper tube is 80 mm. Personally, I think 3 is enough. The contact area for three contacts is 30*80=2400 m², of course this is theoretical. Even at a discount, it’s at least 2,000 m². Moreover, all three compression mechanisms are firmly tightened, with no gaps. I’m not sure if what I’m doing is correct I seek your advice! Could this cause the 185 m² cable to heat up under full load? Thank you!
