Explosion-proof instruments and boxes are installed on-site, and all signals entering and exiting the control cabinet are connected to the safety isolation barrier through ordinary terminals. (This should be enough, right?) But apart from the 3-phase 5-wire system, are there any special requirements for the power circuit section? The current composition of the power circuit is: motor protector + contactor, leading to the standard power terminals. The wiring section is not our responsibility; is it necessary to reserve an explosion-proof gland on the electrical cabinet? Thank you very much.

In explosion-proof areas, the explosion-proof control cabinet must have explosion-proof cable entry ports; otherwise, how can the cables be inserted?
It’s best to have it installed; although the control cabinet is in a safe area, the safe area needs to be separated from the explosion-proof area (through physical separation of the wiring and piping). Since you don’t have control over the wiring, it’s more professional to equip the control cabinet with explosion-proof components. Does the contractor need to refer to the site? :lol
