Report from September 26: The main structure of the gasification framework for the coal gasification unit in the Guoneng Group Shenhua Baotou Coal-to-Olefins Upgrade Demonstration Project, which is under EPC general contracting by Ningbo Engineering Company, has been completed. The achievement of this important milestone marks the full transition of the project to the new phase of equipment installation. On September 22, the main framework of the gasification unit in Guoneng Group’s Shenhua Baotou coal-to-olefins upgrade demonstration project was successfully completed. As the core unit of the project, this coal gasification unit employs pressurized coal gasification technology; it is characterized by a long construction period and high difficulties in implementation. The quality of its construction directly affects the foundation for carrying out the entire project, progress control, risk management, and quality improvement. Since its commencement, the Ningbo project has taken the development of a new type of industrialization in construction as its guiding principle, focusing on creating high-quality projects and value-driven constructions. By making full use of the advantages of an integrated business chain, it has adopted a construction model based on \"standardized design + factory-prepared components + modular installation.\" It has also innovated by using a modular assembly process that incorporates non-standard equipment and steel structures, thereby increasing the overall installation efficiency by over 30%. Leveraging a self-developed digital production control platform, the project achieves digital management of the entire process, from design to procurement. The intelligent design platform significantly enhances the efficiency of multi-disciplinary collaboration, and it enables the precise determination of the key basic parameters for purchased equipment, ensuring efficient coordination between design and construction. As a result, construction can proceed at a rate of one floor per two weeks, allowing the completion of the gasification framework structure to be achieved with high quality in just 7 months.
