The actual situation is this: we need to carry out construction at a worksite where the power distribution system in use is TN-S. Our electrical equipment includes the following: 20 welding machines, operating at 380V with a power consumption of approximately 10KW each; 2 plasma cutters, also operating at 380V with a power consumption of around 10KW each; 1 main motor for the roller bed, operating at 380V with a power rating of 16KW; 1 auxiliary motor for the roller bed, operating at 380V with a power rating of 5KW; 2 toothless saws, operating at 220V with a power consumption of 3KW each; 1 bench drill, operating at 220V with a power rating of 0.75KW; and 1 threading machine, also operating at 220V with a power rating of 0.75KW. What I’d like to know is how to configure our level-2 and level-3 distribution boxes. In other words, what should be the total capacity of the circuit breakers in the level-2 distribution box? Then, are there several empty spaces below for level-3 distribution boxes? How many Level 3 distribution boxes are needed? What size main circuit breaker should be selected for the incoming line of a Level 3 distribution box? How many leakage protection devices are there? What size residual current circuit breaker should I choose?
The temporary electrical plan for construction is a task involving relatively high risks. Please have your unit’s electrical technicians design it, and then submit it to the chief engineer and project manager for approval.
