Our company’s refrigeration system uses a new type of environmentally friendly material, whose main component is ethylene glycol, and it operates at temperatures as low as minus 35°. Due to the characteristics of the process, air often enters the refrigerant delivery pipes during normal use. Automatic exhaust valves (clean water type) made of pure copper or stainless steel, which have been installed on-site, are all unable to perform automatic exhaust. Since this refrigerant exhibits a certain degree of viscosity at minus 35°, we often have to climb to the highest points of the pipes to carry out manual drainage; this process needs to be done frequently (once a day), and it is not safe.
