Let’s give praise and support to the achievements made in China’s chemical engineering technology and equipment; your participation in discussions is the greatest encouragement. **********************【Ten Years of Great Development in Chemical Engineering Equipment】Regular updates and summaries are available; feel free to join the discussions: https://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-3576046-1-1.html ***************** On July 12th, good news came from Nanhua Company’s aniline-rubber additive industry chain project in Gulei, Fujian – a 200,000-ton/year aniline fluidized bed reactor was successfully installed. At 14:57 on that day, with the close cooperation of Nanhua New Materials Company, Nanjing Engineering Company, China National Chemical Engineering Corporation Sixth Construction Co., Ltd., and Sinopec Shipping Company, the core equipment of the project – the aniline fluidized bed reactor – was lifted. Through the diligent efforts of the lifting team over an hour long, it was placed in position with precision. The reactor lifted this time weighs 461 tons, is 35.2 meters in height and 6.7 meters in diameter. It is the core equipment for aniline production, and it is the world’s first fluidized-bed reactor with an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons of aniline. Compared to traditional reactors, it offers higher reaction efficiency and lower energy consumption, meeting the requirements of green production. Moreover, it ensures stable product quality by maintaining the purity of aniline and consistency across batches. The equipment was jointly designed and developed by Nanhua Company and Sinopec Shanghai Research Institute, with Nanhua Chemical Machinery Company responsible for its production. On December 12, 2023, this set of equipment passed the first process safety and reliability assessment conducted jointly by the Fujian Provincial Emergency Management Department and the Fujian Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology. Its innovative modifications to the hot water removal pipe structure, precise temperature control technology, and the practical application of large-scale distribution plates have solved the global challenge of the \"reactor scaling effect\" in the large-scale production of aniline. This represents a significant breakthrough for China in the fields of design of high-end chemical processing equipment and process control.
Largest in the world! Lifting completed~ 2025-07-13 19:29·Sinopec. This reactor is the nitrobenzene gas-phase fluidized-bed hydrogenation reactor with the highest single-unit production capacity among aniline processing units in the world today. The reactor weighs about 461 tons, is 35.2 meters tall, and has a diameter of 6.7 meters. A lifting plan using an 800-ton crawler crane as the main crane and a 400-ton crawler crane as an auxiliary crane is adopted. Due to the high requirements for lifting precision and safety in this project, the project team conducted thorough planning, foundation treatment, as well as equipment inspection and acceptance in advance. During the lifting process, all relevant units worked closely together and monitored the entire operation to ensure that the equipment was lifted smoothly, moved precisely, and placed safely in position. The complete technical package for the 300,000 tons/year aniline plant was jointly developed by Nanjing Chemical Industry Corporation, Nanjing Engineering Company, and Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology. Its core process uses nitrobenzene and hydrogen as raw materials, and employs an advanced gas-phase hydrogenation fluidized-bed technology developed independently to produce high-quality aniline. This process is highly sophisticated, with material and energy consumption levels that meet international standards.
