The first set of supporting facilities for the Luyou and Luyan projects at Qilu Petrochemical was put into operation

News on September 29: The first unit of the technological transformation project aimed at upgrading Qilu Petrochemical’s refining and processing facilities – the coker liquefied gas desulfurization and dewaxing unit – began operations today. This unit is capable of processing 75,000 tons of coker liquefied gas per year. Upon completion of the project, Qilu Petrochemical’s crude oil processing capacity will increase to 16 million tons per year, its ethylene production capacity to 1 million tons per year, and the output of high-end carbon materials to 620,000 tons per year, thereby facilitating the transformation of the petrochemical industry toward higher quality, greater intelligence, and greener practices.
