The 1 million tons per year coal-to-oil demonstration project of Yitai Yili Energy Co., Ltd. is located in the Yinan Industrial Park of Chabuchar Xibe Autonomous County in Xinjiang, with a total investment of approximately 21.043 billion yuan. The project will be constructed in two phases. In the first phase, civil work is scheduled to begin by May, with the construction work handed over to the installation team in June; by the end of the year, all large-scale equipment will have been installed, and the project is set to go into operation at the beginning of 2027 ; Phase 2 is scheduled to begin construction in early 2027, with completion and operation starting in June 2028. The annual production volume of products such as alkylbenzenes, high-carbon alcohols, high-quality light hydrocarbons, FTO waxes, n-C10-14 compounds, white oils, liquid paraffins, and liquefied petroleum gas totals 1.0582 million tons; meanwhile, by-products such as mixed alcohols and sulfur are also produced. This project is a key demonstration project for the clean and efficient utilization of coal. As a major energy project in the autonomous region, it is scheduled to be completed by October 30, 2026. The construction scope of this project includes three core units: the second circulating water plant, the purification unit, and the oil synthesis unit. Among them, the oil synthesis facility will rely on mature processes to achieve efficient conversion of coal into clean oils. It is reported that once this project is completed and put into operation, it is expected to generate an annual output value of over 7 billion yuan, while creating more than 2,000 new job opportunities across the upstream and downstream industrial chains. As an important practice in the field of advanced coal processing, this project will enhance the efficiency of comprehensive utilization of coal resources through the large-scale application of coal-to-oil technology, thereby providing a model for ensuring energy security and facilitating the clean transformation of traditional energy sources in line with the \"dual carbon\" goals.
