On July 28, the two \"core\" carbonylation reactors, which are the key equipment for Tianjin Bohai Petrochemical’s propanol optimization and safety improvement project, arrived at the site safely, thanks to the precise handling by the project team from the shipping company. This shipment consists of core equipment for the octanol production facility. These two pieces of equipment have a diameter of over 8 meters and a weight of nearly 300 tons each; the challenges posed by their complex design and large size require extremely high standards in terms of transportation stability and route planning. Thanks to a scientifically sound plan and rigorous oversight, the project team achieved \"zero fluctuations\" throughout the entire transportation process. Upon completion, this project will significantly improve the safety and environmental protection standards of the facilities as well as the production capacity of octanol, providing strong impetus for the downstream high-end new materials industry and helping to advance Tianjin’s petrochemical sector toward higher levels of sophistication and sustainability.
