On August 9, the prime start-up of the steam-driven pump and turbine for the heat recovery high-pressure boiler feed pump in Jiangxi Xinlianxin’s industrial chain extension project was successful. The process began at 17:06 on August 8 with the heating of the pipes; it involved conducting tests for the tightness of the high-pressure valves, as well as electrical and mechanical overload shutdown tests. By 01:50 on August 9, after joint verification by the owner’s production team, Zhongda Supervision, and the equipment manufacturer, it was confirmed that the first start-up of the steam-driven pump turbine had been successfully completed. The successful commissioning this time marks the unit’s official readiness for operation, representing a crucial transition from the construction phase to the operational phase, and laying a solid foundation for the project’s subsequent full-scale operation. Upon completion, the project will have an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 100,000 tons of DMF, 100,000 tons of mixed methylamine, and 80,000 tons of melamine; in addition, it will be able to produce 480,000 tons of ammonium carbonate and 100,000 tons of NMP.
