On the morning of September 30, the project for selective hydrogenation of C4 alkynes, added to the butadiene extraction unit at Fujian Gulei Petrochemical Co., Ltd., successfully completed its intermediate handover phase, marking the official transition of this project from the construction stage to the production preparation stage and providing another driving force for the high-quality development of the company. This project is an important initiative by Gulei Petrochemicals to promote the efficient use of resources and advance sustainable, low-carbon development. By adopting an advanced selective hydrogenation process for alkynes, the existing alkynyl-containing tetrahydrocarbon resources are converted into high-value butadiene-rich products, allowing for the complete utilization of by-products; this further optimizes the product structure and enhances economic benefits. Since the project was launched, Gulei Petrochemical has worked together with the general contractor, construction teams, and supervision units to establish a \"four-party collaborative\" responsibility system, implement grid-based management, and strengthen safety and quality control to ensure the efficient progress of the project. Through the joint efforts of all those involved in the project, it was completed in nine months, with all construction tasks fulfilled successfully, achieving the goals of zero safety incidents and 100% quality compliance. The successful completion of the handover ceremony laid a solid foundation for the subsequent testing and commissioning of the project. Next, Gulei Petrochemical will accelerate the preparations for production, ensuring that the project comes online and starts generating profits as soon as possible, thereby injecting new momentum into the company’s efforts to improve efficiency and pursue sustainable development.
