Recently, the 150,000-ton per year maleic anhydride production facility in Fujian, built by the Sixth Branch of China National Chemical 16th Construction Company, was successfully commissioned for operation. As one of the largest maleic anhydride production facilities in East China, the project adopts an internationally advanced butane oxidation process technology, featuring high conversion rates, low energy consumption, and excellent environmental performance; its process technology and equipment are at the leading level in the industry. The maleic anhydride produced by this device can be widely used in industries such as plastics, coatings, and building materials, thereby helping to alleviate the supply and demand pressures for high-quality maleic anhydride in the domestic market. Compared with traditional processes, the environmental protection technologies used in this project can also achieve effective control of volatile organic compound emissions, contributing to green production.
