On October 5, the survey work for the modern waste incineration power plant project of Long Xing Green Energy Company in Vietnam, which is being constructed by China National Chemical Civil Engineering Corporation, was officially launched, marking the entry of this project into its substantive implementation phase. The project is located in Thụy Trình Township, Tây Yên District, Phú Thọ Province, Vietnam, covering an area of nearly 6 hectares. With the core design principles of waste reduction, harm reduction, and resource utilization, it is a key initiative undertaken by the Phú Thọ provincial government to promote regional ecological transformation and green economic development. The project is designed to handle 600 tons of municipal solid waste per day; once completed, it will be able to process a total of 219,000 tons per year. This will help alleviate the pressure associated with the disposal of municipal solid waste in the area and directly address the environmental problems caused by the accumulation of such waste locally ; With a synchronized capacity of 15 MW for power generation, the annual electricity output is expected to reach 120 million kWh, enabling circular utilization by turning waste into energy and supplying green power resources to the local area. As a representative project for deepening cooperation between China and Vietnam in the field of environmental protection, the official launch of this project will provide a practical platform for the two sides to exchange green technologies and collaborate in industry development. It will further strengthen the foundation of environmental protection cooperation between China and Vietnam and set a good example for sustainable development cooperation between the two countries.
