Upon completion, the project will significantly optimize the local energy structure, providing strong impetus for a stable energy supply in the region. The company is responsible for constructing sections 6 and 7 of the project, which together cover a length of 697.49 kilometers. To date, over 300 kilometers have been welded, and the total number of safe working hours achieved has exceeded one million hours. The official stated that in recent years, the oil engineering construction company has actively implemented the Belt and Road Initiative, focusing on markets in the Middle East, East Africa, Southeast Asia, and other regions. It has undertaken over 80 energy and infrastructure projects in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Uganda, Kenya, and Thailand, including the Saudi **gas pipeline project, the Wadi Road bridge project in Haile City, Saudi Arabia, the Dillanga central treatment plant project in Uganda, and the geothermal pipeline project in Kenya. The company’s image as a large state-owned enterprise that is trustworthy, responsible, and committed to making contributions has become well-known, serving as a prominent asset for Sinopec in its overseas engineering activities.
