On October 22, the delivery ceremony for 9 pulverized coal feed tanks for the gasification unit of the first-phase project of the olefins, aromatics and deep processing section of Yulin Chemical’s 15 million tons per year demonstration project for clean and efficient conversion of coal by different grades (referred to as Phase 2, Phase 1) was successfully held at Yulin Chemical’s plant for manufacturing oversized equipment. As the first long-duration, oversized equipment delivered under Phase 1 of Project Phase 2, this delivery marks a significant milestone in the progress of that phase, acting as a catalyst to accelerate the successful completion of subsequent project construction. It is understood that the Phase 1 of Project Phase 2 is an **important demonstration project for the clean and efficient use of coal. Upon completion, the project will significantly improve the clean and efficient utilization of coal resources in our country, and it holds great significance for promoting the transformation and upgrading of the energy and chemical industries as well as achieving green development. The early delivery of these key equipment has laid a solid foundation for the project to be completed and put into operation on schedule, while also injecting new momentum into the development of China’s modern coal chemical industry. The first phase of the Phase II project of Shaanxi Coal Yulin Chemical includes 5.6 million tons per year of methanol, 1.5 million tons per year of methanol-to-olefins production, 300,000 tons per year of polyethylene (FDPE), and 300,000 tons per year of polypropylene (PP).
As a key component of the Inner Mongolia HuiNeng ZhuoZheng large-scale coal chemical project, this coal powder feed tank weighs 624 tons in total; its internal conical section is crafted from a special, wear-resistant composite duplex steel material. This facility is an important energy conversion project in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and it has a profound impact on promoting the clean and efficient utilization of local coal resources. Looking to the future, Aerospace Morning Light will further intensify its research and development efforts in key coal chemical equipment such as high-pressure storage tanks, gasifiers, and pulverized coal feed tanks. It is committed to advancing the development of coal chemical equipment in terms of intelligence and sustainability, thereby contributing aerospace expertise and strength to the high-quality growth of the coal chemical industry. In addition, the project is equipped with 4 quenching-type space furnaces capable of handling a daily coal input of up to 3,500 tons and operating at a pressure of 6.5 MPa, which further enhances the project’s gasification efficiency and production capacity.
