Recently, the structural completion of the 290J pretreatment substation, the first key building in Xinjiang’s Zhundong coal-to-gas project, was successfully achieved. As the core power supply hub for the project’s water treatment equipment, the 290J pretreatment substation is crucial; its construction progress is directly related to the advancement of subsequent production and operation stages, making it a key control element in the project’s construction. From the very beginning of its operations, the project team faced the challenges posed by the extreme climate in the Gobi region. Sandstorms persisted for 17 consecutive days, posing a constant threat of covering the freshly poured concrete surfaces with sand and dust. This not only could affect the quality of the construction work but also delay the project timeline.
