Faced with the dual pressures of tight deadlines and heavy workload, Fushun Petrochemical Company seized the opportunity provided by the major maintenance period, established a control mechanism for key milestones, and made every effort to advance the project aimed at overcoming bottlenecks and improving energy efficiency in its plant capable of producing 800,000 tons of ethylene per year. At present, the project is more than halfway completed; construction is proceeding simultaneously with the annual maintenance work, and all tasks are advancing in an orderly manner. At present, the projects aimed at removing bottlenecks and improving energy efficiency in Fushun Petrochemical Company’s 800,000-ton-per-year ethylene production facility are advancing simultaneously at all construction sites, with vigorous construction activities underway. At the project site, the convection module of Reactor No. 9 was smoothly lifted into place by a crane, marking the entry of the reactor construction into a critical phase. Once the cracking furnace is built, it will be moved as a whole to the production area to increase the overall capacity of the facility. Unlike conventional projects, the newly built ethylene cracker adopts an innovative \"building-block\" construction approach: all modules are assembled in a dedicated prefabrication site before being moved as a whole to the production area to be connected to the existing facilities. This approach enables the acceleration of renovation efforts without affecting the operation of existing equipment, thus achieving both increased production capacity and reduced energy consumption.
